I want to hear from you guys if this is correct or not. Also, another thing I heard from my friend was that if I get Parallels Desktop 8 for around $100-$200, I could run Windows on my Mac and even play PC games on there. If I install something like Boot Camp onto a MAC, hold option and select Windows, then the Mac goes into PC mode.

Steam can be used on Mac, but the library of games available is nowhere near as big from what I can tell. If anything, re-releases of past generation and current generation games such as Rome Total War, Sid Meier's Pirates, Starcraft II, Borderlands and others usually have been ported over to the Mac months or years after their initial release on PC. Most of us know that the Mac is pretty barren when it coming to gaming.
Total War Rome II is the main reason why I want to get back into PC gaming again because its the sequel to my favorite game, but I also want to try other games such as Company of Heroes 2 and Watch Dogs for the PC. Even though I am a MacBook Pro owner, lately I've been wanting to get back into PC gaming again.
